34 week ultrasound & belly

34 Weeks

We had another ultrasound this morning and are pleased to report that the babies are doing exceptionally! Baby A is laying on the left side and across the bottom of my belly (his rear is where his head SHOULD be) and is estimated to be 5 pounds 10 ounces. Baby B has his head near his brothers but is laying more on the right side and top of my belly. Baby B is weighing 4 pounds 9 ounces. In comparison to a singleton the boys are in the 70% & 40% percentile for size which is really super considering they are twins. We hope they continue to grow well and are relieved/impressed by their size at this point. We are almost positive these guys will be delivered by c-section but will have another ultrasound at 37 weeks to confirm (unless I go into labor sooner!!!) =).

18 Months

Zachary had his 18 month visit with the doctor last week and hated every minute of it! Eric came with us so he was able to experience the adventure. The doctor says Zach is doing great and is right on track. He's measuring at 34.5 inches (94%) and 25 pounds 8 ounces (40%) so he is growing well too. Eric is a little concerned about getting some meat on his bones so that's our goal over the next few months - 'to fattin' this boy up'!

Thanks Jane!

Our cousin Jane came to stay with us last week and she and Zach became instant buddies. It was so nice having her here - she was such a huge help! Doug, Matt and Jeff joined us for the weekend and we had a really nice time - it was hard to say goodbye this morning.

Playing in the Rain

August 5 - Rain

Sunday was rainy but Zach wasn't ready to miss a day outdoors! Eric decided to get him in his swimsuit and take him out for some rainy day fun! Enjoy!

Napping

Zach has been taking some great naps lately - Saturday he was down for 4 hours! We can't quite figure out why some days are better than others but recently we have been able to count on at least a couple of hours. Maybe he's growing? Maybe he knows his Mommy is TIRED!?
