It was an exciting weekend. Papa and Oma came to visit with the goal of getting the swing set together in 2.5 days. It was a challenge but the boys were able to swing Monday morning! Eric still has some work to do but we sure love the swings!

11 months

The days of getting "nice" pictures are limited - their expressions lately when I pull out the camera crack me up. (I almost like these pictures better because it captures thier personalities!) It's been an interesting month....they have given up their morning nap and it's been a weeks span of Jake sleeping from 30 to 45 minutes all day. I'm TIRED and Jake is exhausted by the end of the day - we are working on nap time. (the only perk to this is they go to bed at 6:30pm and have been sleeping in until 7!)

This was hillarious! Jake is getting pretty use to the camera and one afternoon we were trying to get him to smile and kept saying cheese....and eventually he started looking right at the camera and making his "cheese" face.

One of my goals while my cousin Jane was here for the week was to get some frames hung on the walls and to update the frames with recent pictures. I tried really hard to get some close-up shots of the boys...here are some of my practice shots. (I ended up using pictures I had....wasn't working out as planned!)

CORN FEST 2008

We were back in Avon, NY a couple of weeks ago to pick up our cousin Jane and also to enjoy the annual corn festival. It's a lot of fun - tons of music, crafts and lots of junk food!

Zach is a rock star! Our cousin Ben has a wii and Zach loved 'playing' guitar hero....you couldn't get him away from it =)! Oma also enjoyed rockin' out!

It was a beautiful weekend so we decided to pull out the pool and let the guys have some fun. They all really enjoyed the water and had fun splashing around. There were too many fun pictures to choose just a few so enjoy the album below.

August 2

rough week

Last week was a little rough for the Falls Family. We were at the doctor on Monday afternoon - Jake had an ear infection. Tuesday morning we ventured to a new park and Zach ended up doing a face plant at the bottom of a slide. I went to pick him up and thought all his teeth had fallen out - turns out he had little stones in his mouth =). You can see here that Jake isn't himself and Zach's head is a little scraped up (shiny from the neosporin). To top it off I visited the doctor on Friday and was diagnosed with a double ear infection and a nearly ruptured left ear drum! We are glad the week is over!
