Thanksgiving 2011

We traveled back to Geneseo this year to celebrate Thanksgiving with Oma, Papa, Tubby, Buster, Jane, Doug, Matt, and Jeff. Below is a group photo and I have attached an album from the weekend's adventures.

Zach's Thanksgiving Play

Zach's kindergarden class kept a 34 year tradition alive by performing the Thanksgiving Program to their families and friends. Zach had been talking about the play all month so we were all very excited to go see our little Indian perform.

Oma's Birthday

Oma came down to visit for the weekend so that Eric and I could attend a fundraiser at the Boy's Preschool so we helped her celebrate her birthday a little early.

The boys were a big help this year with getting the leaves cleaned up. We raked them into a pile, and they would load them in the gator and bring them to the curb. Fun was had by all! (too bad the leaves started falling in early October and didn't stop falling until the end of November) The Fun factor wore off by November 1st! 

Halloween 2011

Obi-Wan, Spiderman, and Wolverine had a great Halloween! The activities started around five with a last minute get together/pizza party with neighbors and then the trick or treating started promptly at six. We were lucky the rain held to a sprinkle and the temps didn't dip too low - the boys lasted about an hour before returning home to check out their loot!

Halloween at Kindergarten

Zach wore his Obi-Wan Kenobi costume to Kindergarten on Halloween to show off to all his classmates. They had a fun day at school with lots of crafts and game to help celebrate. Below is a picture of a transformer (Nate), a ninja (Miles) and obi-wan. Below that the dragon (Weston) joins the crew.

Weekend in Hilton - Fall 2011

Friday afternoon we left around lunch time and headed back to NY to spend the weekend with Opa and Yaya. On our way, we stopped in Fredonia to pick up our cousin Jeff and check out the campus/dorms where he will be the next 4 years. We met Jane & Doug on the Thruway to deposit Jeff and continued on our way.  We had a great visit and loved spending time with everyone. Saturday we visited the local apple farms in Hilton and met up with Oma, Papa, Jane, Doug, Jeff, Bailee, Jon, Megan, Jake and Julia! It was a little cold so we were all glad to head back to Opa and Yaya's for some pizza and celebrating!  We were so happy to finally meet Jake & Julia Barry!! Hard to believe they are already two and have a little sibling on the way!!

Anniversary #7

Eric and I celebrated #7 with some wings at FatHeads! We celebrated early as we went to Hilton for the weekend to spend time with family and friends.  We also did not exchange gifts - instead we bought a new lens for our camera :)!! Hard to believe it has been 7 years.....feeling very blessed and lucky to share our lives with each other.

Zach's 1st field trip & bus ride

The kindergarten class went on their first Fieldtrip this Fall to Simmon's Farm for some apple picking. The kids all had a great time but I think the most exciting part was the bus ride!! Below are some pictures of the kids lining up to get ready to head to the Farm.

The Smithley's visit

Katja, Ron, and Ryan came over for a Steelers game and to do some belated Birthday celebrating. It is always fun when we get together and even more so for the boys this time as Ryan was able to "hang". I think the boys were a little surprised that "baby Ryan" had grown up so much!
