current event

Today, just about 20 minutes ago, I didn't know if I should laugh or cry...so I did both.

It is a typical Monday, with the exception that I have a TON of work to do. Our sitter Kat was here with the boys this morning - she fed them lunch and then around 12:30 she left and I put the guys down for their naps. GREAT! I was able to get some work done and would continue working during naps. Typical day.

I could still hear Luke and Jake laughing/bouncing (or whatever they do) at 12:45 but thought they would settle down. At 1pm I was on the phone for work and could still hear them. At 1:15 I went in their room and found two naked kids, one wet diaper and one poopy diaper on the middle of the floor!!! I went over to talk to Jake and heard Luke standing in his crib peeing onto the floor!! I just had to leave the room because I was crying but laughing at the same time.

As a result, I wiped down the cribs, took off their sheets, changed their clothes and put them back to bed. Lucas does not have his binky as he peed on it..... but all is quiet in the room across the hall =).
